Song to the letter in absentia

Standard

letter1 It has been quarter of a year

That I was waiting for this letter

Where are you my sweetheart?

When will this fucking Postal Service deliver?

Oh, how much I waited for you,

Looked at my post box once with excitement

and now what left is just anger,

Oh, how long more should I wait for you?

Would not expect the temporal distance to be this greater

Turkey, S’pore, were you this farther? (Whoa)

So many essays to mark, and lots of analysis to do,

Oh, how much I would like to have you now,

and touch you, caress you gently, and read you,

You should know sweetheart, you were long-awaited

If you come to your mommy now, she would not be more happier

Oh, how much I waited for you,

Looked at my post box once with excitement

and now what left is just anger,

Oh, how long more should I wait for you?

Would not expect the spatial distance to be this greater

Turkey, S’pore, were you this farther? (Whoa)

PS: SingPost (of Singapore) and PTT (of Turkey), you know what I mean???
